Monda Shaver

Standards Development & Program Consultant

Monda Shaver, former Chief Program Officer at QUAD A, now consults on QUAD A’s accreditation programs and acts as liaison between the organization and all federal, state, and international regulatory bodies. 

The Flint, Michigan native loves the challenge and the rewards of her efforts. 

“There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that we have made an impact on facilities being the best that they can be, and in ensuring that patients are much more likely to receive safe and effective healthcare because of our diligence and hard work,” she said. 

Monda knows the importance of patient safety. She is a registered nurse and holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Management. 

In her nursing career, she worked in emergency rooms and intensive care, where Monda learned the importance of patient safety.  

In addition to her undergraduate and graduate degrees earned with honors, Monda is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Technology.
