Outpatient Programs
Office-Based Procedural
The Office-Based Procedural accreditation is intended for ambulatory facilities performing procedures under sedation in which therapeutic and diagnostic procedures are carried out, which would include gastroenterologists, urologists, gynecologists, pain management physicians, and others. These procedures may include minimally invasive procedures and minor surgical procedures.
Office-Based Surgery
Our Office-Based Surgery program is designed to promote optimal patient safety in the office setting. Accredited centers must comply with standards governing professional training, operational safety, and the physical layout of the center. Patients undergoing surgery in an accredited operating room should be assured the same level of care and safety preparedness as those receiving care in a hospital. Centers with nearly any surgical specialty are eligible for accreditation under this program.
Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
Accredited oral maxillofacial facilities must meet standards written for the delivery of safe oral surgery care requiring unique anesthesia delivery and disinfection practices. This program is designed to promote optimal patient safety while meeting the specific needs of the oral surgery community.
Pediatric Dentistry
