What’s Changing?

We’re refining and streamlining our standards by cutting out redundancies, fixing problem areas, and adding clear, actionable guidance. These changes are all about making compliance simpler and more straightforward, and we want your input to help shape the final version. Here’s a quick look at what’s ahead:

  • Posted for Public Comment: October 30, 2024
  • Public Comments Due: November 29, 2024
  • Full Implementation: March 28, 2025

We will provide detailed Change Reports to help you understand and navigate the revisions.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Update for RHC Standards 

In addition to our standards overhaul, we want to remind you that the revised Rural Health Clinic (RHC) standards, recently implemented by CMS, will take effect on October 14, 2024.

These updates align with current regulations and best practices, underscoring our commitment to high-quality care and patient safety. We encourage you to review the revised RHC standards here and prepare for implementation.
