Orbis' Flying Eye Hospital has landed in Lusaka, Zambia, continuing their vital sight-saving training mission.

While on the ground in Zambi, Orbis will provide simulation training sessions, workshops led by expert medical volunteers, and Zambian ophthalmologists. Eye care teams will gain hands-on surgical experience and training from these experts while providing life-changing care to patients on board.
When we learned that Orbis was facing a substantial fee from another accreditation organization, we recognized a moral duty to step in and support mission of providing sight-saving care free from financial obligations. Our partnership with Orbis takes us to Lusaka this year, where we stand alongside them during their re-accreditation process on October 9th.
